Fans Representative- Meet Your Fans Rep The
Trust signed a contract in May 2003 which gave the supporters
effective ownership of 20% of CUFC Holdings Ltd, the 93% owner of
Carlisle United FC. Since then this has been superseded by an
amended agreement dated May 2006 which allows the Trust to extend
their shareholding to 25.4% of the club's holding company. As part of that
arrangement the supporters also gained the right to elect their
own representative to the Board to look after their particular interests.
The person elected as The United Trust representative has the same
rights and responsibilities as any other director.
Following the resignation of Kate Rowley in May 2006, Norman Steel was appointed
as the new Trust representative to sit on the Board. His deputy is
Chris Fuller who will attend board meetings when Norman is
unavailable. Board meetings are held on the first Thursday of every
month at Brunton Park.

Trust Representative View- October 2006
Norman will update this section throughout the season. Please
note that discussions at Boardroom level are treated as
confidential, so Norman will not be able to report on all aspects of
the Board's activities, but he will be able to update members on
matters that concern them and can take your questions and ideas into
Board meetings. He will then be able to report back both on here and
at Trust meetings.
