Fans Representative- Question and Answers- November 2004

Why can't the club allow season ticket holders to purchase tickets for their own seat in the East Stand like the season ticket holders in the West Stand?

This is now being looked at and I will report back.

Tickets for the Carlisle v York game were not available until the Wednesday am prior to the game on the Saturday. At least one complaint I received was from a supporter who had travelled some considerable distance to purchase his ticket on Tuesday having been told by telephone that they would be in. Understandably he was not happy. Why then when we have known for almost 3 weeks that we were playing York on 30.10.04 were the tickets not available for sale?

The problem was one of printing and delivery, the tickets had been ordered and were expected much earlier but both the printer and delivery firm failed to get to the club on the date required.

Why would the club not sell tickets for the LDV Vans match tickets at the same time as the FA Cup, this would save supporters making two journeys?

This was a management decision. That decision being effected by the possibility that there may be a replay of the FA Cup on the night thus moving the LDV Vans 2nd round to another date. Tickets printed with no date may have been the answer.

St Johnstone sell 'Special Edition' season ticket, which gives you entry to all club matches and all, cup matches and cost an extra £5. Money 3 months in advance. Any chance of us thinking about this type of scheme?

This will be looked into for next season and appears to be a very reasonable suggestion.

Why does 'B' Stand not sell concession tickets?

This will be raised for 2005/6 season

Information printed or reported by the media and staff instructions conflicted re the FA Cup game Carlisle v York. Reports initially were that children got in free for Saturdays game if accompanied by an adult. Some parts of the media stated 1 child with an adult, others said no limit on the number of children with one adult later instructions were a max of 3 children with 1 adult. Some information stated a child was 12 years and under (i.e. under 13 yrs) another stated under 12 years (i.e. 11yr and under). Information needs to be Clear and available prior to a match.

There was a communication problem. Should this be done again then clear information will be available prior to any game.

Concerns over the hygiene in the WC's in Brunton Park.

This will be addressed.
