Tuesday 28th July 2009: 2009 AGM Results

The Eighth Annual General Meeting of the Trust was held in Foxys Restaurant, Brunton Park on Sunday, July 26 2009.

The results of the resolutions were as follows:

1. To receive the reports of the Society’s board and the audited financial statements for
the period ending 31st January 2009.

FOR: 75 AGAINST: 1 CARRIED

2. To elect to the Board of the Society
Ali Irving (Membership No. 1662)
FOR: 75 AGAINST: 1 CARRIED
Frank Beattie (Membership No. 84)
FOR: 75 AGAINST: 1 CARRIED

3. It is hereby resolved to amend the Society’s rules by inserting new clauses c-f in Rule
84.

FOR: 75 AGAINST: 1 CARRIED (66% majority required)

4. It is hereby resolved that subject to the provisions of section 4A of the 1968 Friendly
and Industrial and Provident Societies Act, the members of the Society shall not
require an audit for the accounts covering the current financial year ending on 31
January, 2010 when they are presented to the next AGM held in 2010.

FOR: 75 AGAINST: 1 CARRIED (80% majority required)

5. To authorise the Society Board to fix the remuneration of the auditors.

FOR: 75 AGAINST: 1 CARRIED
